Last time we visited a cat cafe in Kaohsiung to eat Taiwanese brunch. Today come with me to a traditional Taiwanese breakfast shop to eat Chinese style Taiwanese breakfast.
If you're travelling in Taiwan and want to find one of these Taiwanese breakfast shops, just type "豆漿" into google maps. It means "soy milk" and it will show you where your closest shop is. They probably won't speak English there but you can usually point to what you want. Here's a list of things you might want to try asking for:
蛋餅 dàn bǐng - egg crepe
油條 yóutiáo - fried doughnut stick
燒餅加蛋 shāobǐng jiā dàn - sesame wheat bun with scrambled egg inside
肉包 ròu bāo - meat bun
豆漿 dòujiāng - soy milk
奶茶 nǎichá - milk tea
